PRUGEL’s active ingredient sodium dichloroisois recommended by Indian Council of Medical Research, United States Environmental Protection Agency, Centre for Disease Control Atlanta, The National Health Services, UK, Red Cross, for hard surface disinfection.
Hospital Acquired Infection is on the rise. Emerging pathogens particularly, Clostridium difficile, Candida auris are major challenges faced in clinical settings. Conventional method of using sodium hypochlorite 5% (NaClO) is 4 tire process.
Cleaning, applying detergent, mopping, water mopping to remove excess detergent and finally disinfection with NaClO.
Sodium Hypochlorite gets inactivated even if there are traces of detergent left behind on the floor. The final disinfection becomes weak to kill microbial colonies.
Other methods are with Quaternary compounds. QAC’s are not only expensive they are ineffective against mycobacteria, HBV, C.difficile and C.auris.
PRUGEL-4 is effective against a wide range of microbes. The formulation gives excellent cleaning due to detergency effect of PRUGEL-4.
